Michelle Lovett is a multifaceted force in the fields of mental health, creative expression, and entrepreneurial leadership.

Michelle is a spoken word poet/performer. In her new release The Moon is Mistaken she uses humor in poems like “I Will Not Write a Poem about Pie” and expresses her deep belief in healing in “She Put Gum in My Hair,” her creative nonfiction piece about working in a high school in the Bronx. In poems like “Heart Home,” “Automn’s Cloak,” and “Finishing Life,” she shares a piece of her heart.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), psychotherapist, and the Executive Director of Oneness Center NYC, Michelle is devoted to creating and facilitating spaces for self-discovery and mastery. She is both humbled and thrilled by the resilience of the human spirit and by the power of connection.

In addition to her life as a poet, a clinician and a leader in her community, Michelle is the owner and executive producer of Lovett Productions. Through Lovett, she merges her organizational and visionary skills to lead her teams in executing nonprofit conferences and unique premier corporate events.
